Well, the drought has long since gone away, but he has continued to reuse his dish-washing and showering water by using it as toilet-flushing water.

You see, he has a large plastic tub in his kitchen sink, and when he washes his dishes (using ecologically-friendly soap), he pours the water into a large plastic water jug, which he saves in his bathroom.

Also, when he takes a shower (using biodegradable shampoo), he stand in a giant plastic tub. After showering, he pumps the water from the plastic tub into more water jugs. (Yes, Yuoo has a pump. It came with his air mattress.)

Well, whenever he flushes his toilet, he pours water from these jugs into the tank. I estimate that he reduces the amount of water he uses by 30% to 50% that way.

Sunday, September 16, 2007 - Yuoo has been sick this past week. On Labor day, he went bicyling in the hot sun and got heat exhaustion. (Yes, even Fennecs must be careful in the sun.) Also, Yuoo had a birthday earlier this month. He is now 36 Fennec-years-old. (Note: I scaled my real age by a certain factor, for the sake of my own privacy.)

Sunday, September 16, 2007 - Something exciting has come up in Yuoo's life, since last Wednesday, but I'm not allowed to tell you about it yet.
