Monday, June 27, 2005 - Wow, a month has gone by. Yuoo has finished his Machignosis class, earning a Yellow mark (the equivalent of a B) for the course. Now, he's focusing on his Spanish class. Yuoo's roommate Jin is from South Korea, and currently Jin's girlfriend is visiting here. She bought Yuoo a bobble-head kitty cat figurine. He named this kitty Sam Bak Ja, named after a company that makes one of his favorite internet cartoons. One reason why it's been a month since I've written in this diary is because some things have happened that I can't easily fit into Yuoo's world, or at least the optomistic way Yuoo sees it.

Two times this month, Yuoo had to go to the clinic to have a blood sample drawn. Yuoo isn't as afraid of needles as he once was, but he still isn't very fond of them. From the results of this latest test, Yuoo discovered that he has A Posative blood. In some Asian countries, it's a popular belief that your blood type influences your personality, almost like a form of zodiac.

Tuesday, June 28, 2005 - Today, Yuoo admitted to me something that he's slightly embarassed about. He bought a music CD called HampsterDance Hits, which is a collection of songs all sung by a group of cartoon singing hamsters. (no relation to Alvin & the Chipmunks) Since this originated on the internet anyway, he could have downloaded the music, but I know that Yuoo don't like to do that. To tell the truth, I think he's kind of proud of the little guys (and gals). They started out as a webpage of silly little .gif animations of hamsters set to music. Today, though still very silly, they've gained popularity to the point that their music is appearing in Disney albums and a kids' movie soundtrack. Yuoo likes to see people be rewarded for making others smile, even if this is achieved through dancing hamsters.

Wednesday, June 29, 2005 - Wet, wet, wet! I forgot to mention that the rainy season has begun in Yuoo's town of Loblolly.
